## Description

LaZwalla is an online resource for people who want to create engaging dance and movement classes for children. Its materials are intended for a broad audience, including dance teachers, early-childhood and primary-school educators, and parents. The site describes its collection as more than 1,100 activity sheets featuring photos, videos and music, and says the resources were created by an early-childhood educator and dance teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching children.

Users can explore ideas by category, including choreography, rhythm, warm-ups, exercises, games, improvisation, relaxation, movement equipment and dance at home. LaZwalla also offers guidance on child-focused teaching, planning individual classes and semesters, and understanding children’s movement development. Its activity ideas draw on dance and theatre classes and are designed to support children’s development and expression through enjoyable movement. Examples range from simple songs and dances for very young children to themed games and choreographies for older age groups.
