## Description

LBBA is a hands-on, full-service architectural practice based in Chicago that is dedicated to a community-based approach. Since its establishment in 1987, LBBA has been a leader in affordable housing and neighborhood planning. Their mission is to make good design accessible to everyone. LBBA believes that by collaborating with clients and community stakeholders, they can create innovative, inviting, and sustainable spaces that transform lives, revitalize neighborhoods, and regenerate cities. LBBA offers a wide range of architectural services, including affordable and mixed-income housing, urban design and planning, supportive housing, cultural and institutional projects, transit-oriented developments, senior housing, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, as well as single room occupancy (SRO) and micro-unit designs. Some of LBBA's notable projects include Elm 551 at Parkside, which transformed the former Cabrini-Green housing project into a mixed-income housing development, Lucy Gonzalez Parsons Apartments in Logan Square, providing high-quality affordable rental housing, and the Ruth Ellis Clairmount Center in Detroit, which offers permanent supportive housing for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness. For LBBA, good design is not just about aesthetics but about creating inclusive and sustainable communities. Contact LBBA to see how they can bring your vision to life.
