# Lbpbu - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `lbpbu.com` ## Description Lbpbu, or Large Black Pig Breeders United, is a brand that is dedicated to breeding and preserving the heritage breed of Large Black Hogs. Founded by Darren and Felicia Krock, the brand was born out of a desire to utilize the barn on their property and create a sustainable and pasture-based system. The Krock family's research led them to discover that the Large Blacks were the perfect choice due to their docile personalities, meat quality, and endangered status. Since 2009, they have been raising these pigs, providing buyers all over the US and even into Canada with their high-quality breeding stock and pork. Another farm associated with Lbpbu is Fur Immer Farm, run by Kelly and Duane Luzier in Southcentral Pennsylvania. They also breed and raise Large Black Hogs, along with Kinder goats and Wheaton Maran chickens. This farm is committed to conserving heritage breed livestock and aims to produce top-notch breeding stock and pork. Their journey started with a desire to get back to their agricultural roots and make use of a barn that was already set up for goats. After researching, they discovered the Large Black Pigs, with their recommended suitability for small farms and families, as well as their critically endangered status. Starting in 2009, they have been raising Large Blacks on a small budget, always seeking guidance from God in their endeavors. Both the Krock family and the Luzier family have found fulfillment in their passion for raising Large Black Hogs and contributing to the preservation of this special breed. Their unconventional and dedicated approaches have gained attention from neighboring farms, proving that they are committed to their cause. Lbpbu stands as a testament to their devotion to these pigs and their commitment to sustainable and responsible farming practices. ## Industries - 🏭 Heavy Industry and Engineering - 🏭 Agriculture _(under Heavy Industry and Engineering)_ - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idkzAc_d4W/w/350/h/112/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1694755989940) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Limeade | #7a9e00 | accent | | Armadillo | #3b3b31 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Inconsolata — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
