Founded over 50 years ago, the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area (LCCRSF) is one of the oldest civil rights institutions on the West Coast. Their mission is to dismantle systems of oppression and racism, working towards an equitable and just society. LCCRSF focuses on various key areas of advocacy, including racial justice, economic justice, and immigrant justice.

In their pursuit of racial justice, LCCRSF fights against institutionalized white supremacy and the oppression of Black communities and other people of color.
