## Description

The Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence is an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Cambridge focused on the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence. Its work explores how AI may affect society, human wellbeing and the future, bringing together perspectives from different fields to inform responsible development and use. Research themes include kinds of intelligence; AI futures and responsibility; trust and society; narratives and justice; and design, participation and praxis. The centre also supports research projects and specialist research labs, and provides opportunities for students and researchers to engage with its work. Its educational offerings include MPhil, MST and PhD study, short courses, scholarships and fellowships. Beyond research and teaching, the centre shares its work through news, events, a blog, media coverage and a library, and invites participation through visiting opportunities and other ways to get involved. Based in Cambridge, the centre aims to advance understanding of AI’s implications through interdisciplinary inquiry, education and public engagement.
