## Description

LCMC, or Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ, is not just a denomination but a movement. They believe in the power and importance of the local church, where people can connect with God and each other. LCMC celebrates the freedom that comes from following Jesus and focuses on understanding and living out the teachings of Christ. They recognize that different communities have diverse needs, backgrounds, and cultures, so they empower their members to be creative in their ministry approach. While promoting individual ministry, LCMC also emphasizes accountability within the community. They hold themselves accountable to the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions, viewing them as the ultimate authority. LCMC's primary mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, both locally and globally. They offer workshops, events, and online resources to strengthen existing congregations and support the planting of new ones. With a commitment to collaboration, LCMC encourages pastors and congregations to connect, ask questions, and share advice through the Churches Connect online tool.
