The Learning Choice Academy is a K-12 Public Hybrid Homeschool that provides an innovative and flexible education program for students. With a focus on collaboration between parents, students, and the school, TLC offers two options for families: a 100% homeschool program or a hybrid program where students spend three days at school and two days at home. Founded in 2004, TLC has received charters from local districts such as Chula Vista Elementary School District, Grossmont Union High School District, and San Diego Unified School District.

As a charter school, TLC offers numerous benefits, including a wider variety of curriculum options, enrichment opportunities, and personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs and talents. TLC is actively involved in professional affiliations such as APLUS+, the Association of Personalized Learning Schools, CCSA, the California Charter Schools Association, and CSDC, the Charter Schools Development Center.
