## Description

The Leathersellers is a historic UK organisation that combines charitable work, educational support and commitment to the leather trade. Guided by a long-standing legacy and responsibility to future generations, it works with charities and communities, supports opportunities through education, and helps sustain the UK leather industry.

Through its Foundation and associated trusts, the organisation provides unrestricted, multi-year grants to help prevent and address the effects of adverse childhood experiences, as well as responsive funding that enables small charities to meet local needs. Its education work includes support for the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools, Colfe’s scholarship programme and undergraduate scholarships. The organisation also funds programmes for people who produce and create with leather, promoting the material’s use as versatile and sustainable.

The Leathersellers shares information about its grant programmes, eligibility, application processes and support for current grant holders. It also offers resources on its heritage, governance, partnerships and the leather trade, alongside stories, educational content and opportunities such as mentoring and its alumni network.
