V. is a nonprofit association serving people with disabilities, people at risk of disability, and their families in the Freyung-Grafenau district of Bavaria. Founded in 1969 by parents and friends, the organization promotes belonging, self-determination, and independence, supporting each person to pursue their wishes and develop their abilities. Its services span different stages of life and support needs. These include community residential care, supported individual living, and ambulatory supported housing, as well as an assisted-living group for people with dementia called Lichtblick.
