## Description

Lebenshilfe Kreisvereinigung Hochtaunus e.V. is an association supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families in the Hochtaunus district of Germany. Its work is guided by the belief that everyone, with or without a disability, should be part of society. The organisation promotes acceptance and inclusion while providing practical support across different stages of life.

Its services include an early intervention and counselling centre for children, a Family Support Service offering advice, care and assistance to children, young people, adults with disabilities and their families, and open support centres in Bad Homburg and Usingen. The association also provides individual and after-school support, holiday programmes, leisure clubs, trips and sports activities. Through its care association, it offers guidance and training, including information on powers of attorney and advance directives. Families can also connect through activities such as parent groups and family gatherings.

The organisation’s work is made possible with the involvement of families, staff, volunteers, friends and supporters.
