It supports people experiencing serious illness, end-of-life care, bereavement, and related challenges, offering guidance and compassionate companionship to individuals and their families. Its work is organized around four connected services: the BeratungsZentrum, the SchulungsZentrum, Hospiz Lebenszeit, and the Ambulanter Hospizdienst. The BeratungsZentrum provides a welcoming place to seek information, orientation, and support. Services also include everyday assistance, neighborhood support, a neighborhood contact point, and a contact point for peer support related to care. Through its SchulungsZentrum, Lebenszeit shares knowledge and offers training, including information on combined care and relief services. Hospiz Lebenszeit provides inpatient hospice care, while the ambulatory hospice service offers support to people in their own surroundings. By connecting advice, education, residential hospice care, and home-based support, Lebenszeit e.V. aims to strengthen hospice and palliative care in the rural region and help people receive respectful, attentive support through difficult times.
