## Description

The "Leben wie du und ich" association is dedicated to empowering individuals with complex disabilities to lead free, normal, and self-determined lives within society. Founded with the vision of promoting self-determination, the organization offers a comprehensive range of services, including personalized assistance and a mobile competence center, enabling individuals to make their own choices in living and working arrangements.

The association facilitates the transition from institutionalized living to more autonomous choices by providing support for managing personal assistant services, allowing individuals to become their own employers. Moreover, "Leben wie du und ich" actively develops inclusive residential options, with accessible housing available in the KULTURPARK in Zurich West. This innovative residential model integrates people with and without disabilities, fostering diverse living arrangements.

In addition, the association runs a creative workplace for individuals with severe disabilities, addressing the lack of suitable employment opportunities and enabling participants to express themselves artistically. Through various initiatives, "Leben wie du und ich" advocates for the rights and independence of people with disabilities, ensuring they can live and work on their own terms.
