## Description

Le CIMAP, or Centre d’Initiation au Milieu Aquatique et à la Pêche, is a fishing and nature education service based in Sanguinet, in France’s Landes region. Led by fishing guide and nature educator Christophe Maffezzoni, it offers activities around the Landes lakes, including Cazaux-Sanguinet, Biscarrosse-Parentis and nearby communities. Its approach combines a passion for fishing with respect for wildlife and the natural environment, making experiences accessible to beginners and experienced participants, children and adults.

Services include guided fishing trips, lessons and workshops, with instruction in predator fishing, casting, fly fishing and coarse fishing. Young people can take part in dedicated workshops, courses, fishing clubs, birthday activities, short stays and holiday camps; adults can book fishing stays. The CIMAP also provides environmental education focused on water and aquatic habitats, nature activities, school programs and discovery sessions at its Lutra Losa facility. Additional services include environmental education training and advice in natural resource management.
