## Description

The Baron’s Retreat is the creative home of writer Lee McCusker, whose work spans fanfiction and original writing. Writing since 2016, McCusker focuses mainly on fantasy, drawing inspiration from influential fantasy literature while also engaging with classic literature, mythology, and history. The site’s library and archive present a range of stories, including A Promise Kept, Avalon, The Reaver’s Legacy, When the Roses Bloom Again, Whispers of a Raven, Written in the Stars, and The Sword of the Winter Rose. Visitors can also find a non-patron edition of The Sword of the Winter Rose.

The site provides links to Patreon, where McCusker publishes writing and podcasts, as well as a fanfiction profile and Discord community. It also includes contact information and sections for commissions, the shop, and the author’s wider creative community.
