## Description

Legacy Motorworks is a racecar builder and dealer focused on creating and supporting competitive cars for amateur and professional racers. Founded by brothers Phil Buffington and Peter Jones, the company combines a shared passion for racing with hands-on experience building and campaigning cars. Its specialties include SPEC E46, SPEC Boxster, and RUSH SR race cars, with custom builds designed around drivers’ needs and track goals.

Beyond construction, Legacy Motorworks supports racers in NASA, SCCA, and PCA, offering crash repair, automotive work, and engine services. Its experience spans sprint and endurance racing, and its featured builds include cars prepared for events such as the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The company also highlights completed projects, race results, and builds in progress through its gallery and podcast.

Based around a close-knit, garage-oriented approach, Legacy Motorworks welcomes fellow racers and aims to make competitive motorsport more accessible. Whether a customer needs a purpose-built race car, repairs after an incident, or mechanical support, the team provides practical expertise rooted in time spent building and racing.
