## Description

La Semaine du Goût is a French culinary education initiative dedicated to sharing knowledge about taste, food culture, and eating well. Established in 1990, it brings together food professionals and the public through a nationwide week of events and learning activities. Its 37th edition is scheduled for 12–18 October 2026, with registrations open to participants and organizers.

The event connects pupils, families, teachers, farmers and producers, food retailers, artisans, restaurateurs, local authorities, associations, and cultural institutions. Activities include Leçons de Goût, which help introduce children to flavors and food, as well as public-facing taste activities listed in the event program. Teachers can access educational resources, including a teaching sheet on balanced eating that carries the French National Nutrition and Health Program logo. The initiative also offers activities such as Chef sur le Campus and Rencontre des Chefs de Demain, alongside quizzes and information for the press and partners. With support from France’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, La Semaine du Goût promotes culinary heritage and a broader appreciation of food.
