About Leinster GAA
Description
Leinster GAA, the Leinster Council of the GAA, has been promoting Gaelic Games since its establishment in 1900, making it the oldest Provincial Council of the GAA. Collaborating closely with the GAA's Central Council and the office of the GAA Ard Stiúrthóir in Croke Park, Leinster GAA oversees more than 800 GAA Clubs across the 12 Counties of Leinster. Led by Chairman Derek Kent and CEO Michael Reynolds, the organization employs over 120 coaching and games development officers to drive the growth and development of Gaelic Games in the region.
From club coach education to infrastructure development, Leinster GAA offers a wide range of advisory services. Located in Portlaoise, Co Laois, the headquarters of Comhairle Laighean is a hub of activity in the promotion of Gaelic Games.
