## Description

Lekatech Oy is a Finnish technology company founded in 2018 to advance hammering through linear electric motor technology. Its electric drive systems are designed for construction, earthmoving, quarrying and mining, offering an alternative to conventional hydraulic hammers as equipment shifts toward electrification. Lekatech’s technology enables programmable, adjustable impact energy and frequency, allowing hammer performance to adapt to changing working conditions.

The company’s main product is the LEKA Toras 35 electric hammer, developed for breaking rock and concrete. It is designed to combine high power and productivity with lower weight and vibration, reduced oil consumption, and lower local emissions than hydraulic alternatives. Lekatech reports that the hammer can be up to 70% more energy efficient than hydraulic hammers, with adjustable impact energy and frequency. Its technology can be used with electric carrier machines and conventional excavators.

Lekatech positions its products as a way to support energy efficiency, emissions reduction, digitalization and automation in heavy equipment operations.
