## Description

Leo and Friends is a charity established in loving memory of Leo, who was born prematurely and spent 13 days in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Leicester. Founded by his family, the charity aims to turn their experience of neonatal care into lasting support for other families facing similar challenges. Its work offers practical resources and emotional support during what can be one of life’s most difficult moments, with compassion, care and hope at its heart.

The charity also raises awareness and funds through community events. Its “13 Days Fighting” Burpee Challenge honours Leo’s 13-day fight, bringing people together at locations across the UK to take part, cheer on participants and support the cause. The campaign is supported by Currys, which is fundraising in stores nationwide and donating technology to help NICU doctors, nurses and families. Donations help Leo and Friends reach families in need and continue its support for those navigating neonatal care. Through every family it helps, the charity seeks to keep Leo’s legacy alive.
