## Description

Le Rail is a railway modelling club based in Lausanne, Switzerland, bringing together enthusiasts from the region since its founding in 1948. The club provides a dedicated space where members can pursue the hobby, build layouts, and operate model trains. Its main project is a large-scale H0/H0m model railway featuring several systems: an H0 three-rail alternating-current network using the Märklin system, an H0 two-rail direct-current network, and an H0m network that is still under construction. Trains can be run using either conventional or digital control, offering members different ways to enjoy and develop their layouts.

The club shares information about its history, activities, model railway, and related articles, as well as press coverage, photographs, videos, and items available through its second-hand section. Visitors can also find details about membership, contacts, and the club committee. Le Rail maintains an online presence through Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and makes its archives available via Notre Histoire.ch. The club welcomes the public to its open-house events, including those planned for 2026.
