# Les Amis Du Pain - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `les-amis-du-pain.fr` ## Description Les Amis du Pain is a local association based in Mensignac, in the Dordogne region of France, best known for organising the annual Fête du Pain. The celebration began in 1987, when local baker Alain Boisseau brought villagers and friends together to mark the anniversary of his grocery shop and the construction of a second bread oven. What started as a community meal has grown into a major village festival. The 2026 Fête du Pain takes place on 12, 13 and 14 July, with three ticketed evening concerts featuring Gilbert Montagné, a Céline Dion tribute show and a 1990s music lineup. The programme also includes free daytime entertainment for all ages, such as a funfair, circus, orchestral performances, Landes cattle displays, fireworks, grilled food and a second-hand market, as well as shared meals. Alongside the festival, Les Amis du Pain organises lotteries and other activities.
