## Description

Les Patounes de Bezons is a French animal welfare association founded in 2021 by three animal lovers and residents of Bezons. Based in Bezons, it works to improve the lives of animals and help them live alongside people. The association focuses primarily on rescuing cats abandoned in homes or living outdoors, and on sterilising and identifying stray cats in partnership with the local town. It also offers advice to pet owners and may help with veterinary costs depending on their circumstances. Through school visits and local projects, Les Patounes de Bezons raises awareness of animal welfare among the public and young people.

The association presents cats and, occasionally, dogs for adoption. Its adoption process includes an application, a conversation with a volunteer and a meeting with the animal, followed by an adoption contract. Animals are generally identified, vaccinated and sterilised before adoption. Because the association has no shelter, animals stay with foster families in Bezons and nearby towns.
