# Association Les P'tits Soleils - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `les-ptits-soleils.com` ## Description Les P’tits Soleils is a French association founded in 2003 to support children and teenagers during hospital stays. Its nearly 40 volunteers visit the paediatric department at Laval Hospital throughout the year, offering a friendly presence to help ease fear, pain and isolation. From Monday to Friday, they provide playful and creative activities in the day hospital and inpatient ward, either at a child’s bedside or in a shared space for teenagers. The association also works to improve hospital conditions by funding items such as audiovisual equipment, books and mobiles for babies. Seasonal and longer-term support forms an important part of its work: volunteers organise a Christmas celebration and outings for children with long-term illnesses, including bowling, karting and tree-top adventures. They also provide cinema tickets and admission to regional parks and zoos. Recognising the value of family time, Les P’tits Soleils helps families enjoy breaks at leisure destinations such as Disneyland Paris, Parc Astérix, Puy du Fou and Center Parcs.
