## Description

Les Arts Au Jardin is an annual visual arts event held in Bonnes, a commune in Charente, France. Each year, local residents open their private gardens to visitors for a weekend exhibition that brings art into outdoor settings and offers a distinctive way to discover the village. The event welcomes artists working across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video, ceramics, visual arts and performance. Visitors can explore the artists’ work while meeting and talking with the people behind it. Artists, garden hosts and volunteers all contribute to the friendly, participatory atmosphere, encouraging exchanges with the public throughout the event. The festival’s ninth edition is scheduled for 11 and 12 July 2026, with visitors invited from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Les Arts Au Jardin also acknowledges the partners whose support helps make the festival possible. By connecting contemporary artistic practice with private gardens and community involvement, the event provides an accessible cultural experience for visitors and a welcoming platform for artists.
