## Description

Les Cœurs de Yolène is a French nonprofit association serving students and families facing financial hardship in the Indre-et-Loire area. Recognized by the Indre-et-Loire Prefecture on 22 May 2020, it works to address food insecurity and support healthier eating by distributing fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Its weekly food baskets are intended for people in difficulty, including students, families, retirees, people with disabilities and people without housing. Eligible recipients must register in person at a distribution location; the association provides details of locations and schedules through its flyers. It operates a storage depot at the wholesale market in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps and a distribution space in central Tours. The initiative relies on volunteers and donations from individuals and businesses, with contributions accepted online, by bank transfer, through HelloAsso, by cheque or as in-kind donations arranged by appointment. The association also offers a welcoming community setting and practical support for members. Through its local partnerships and donor network, Les Cœurs de Yolène helps people access regular fresh produce while easing pressure on household food budgets.
