## Description

Les Sabots du Relais is an association based at the historic horse relay in Launois-sur-Vence, in France’s Ardennes region. Founded on 5 March 2020, it operates the site’s horse facilities and works to preserve the Ardennes draft horse while showcasing local animal and historical heritage. The association also encourages members to share rural and equestrian skills, and welcomes visitors throughout the year, with free entry to see the horses at work.

Its activities include horse-drawn carriage rides for families, groups and friends, with options such as village tours, farm visits, nature outings, forest excursions, heritage-themed trips, gourmet outings and picnics. Visitors can also book tailored services for occasions including birthdays and weddings. The association offers animations and opportunities to discover draft-horse work, including animal traction and introductory logging activities, alongside equestrian learning experiences. It also promotes the preservation and appreciation of historic carriages. Each year, Les Sabots du Relais opens its doors for public events, bringing together visitors, horses and the heritage of the former relay station.
