## Description

L’Es-Sens de Vie is an association based in the Jura region of France, between Lons-le-Saunier and Bourg-en-Bresse. It supports respectful birth, maternity, parenting and family wellbeing, while promoting ecology and working to prevent violence, including sexual violence against children. The association offers activities and resources for parents, babies and children, including workshops on positive communication, sibling relationships, baby massage and baby signing. Parents can also take part in discussion groups, including support for parents experiencing bereavement and perinatal loss, and gatherings about childbirth and returning home with a newborn. Its maternity services include prenatal and postnatal support and the traditional four-handed Rebozo treatment. To encourage environmentally minded parenting, L’Es-Sens de Vie hosts discussions about cloth nappies and natural infant hygiene, and offers cloth nappies on loan. The association shares information about events, practitioners, volunteers and useful resources through its website. Its activities receive support from the CAF, which has funded several workshops since 2021, and from the Jura department since 2024.
