## Description

The Lethaia Foundation is a Scandinavian non-profit organization dedicated to supporting scientific research in palaeontology and stratigraphy. Its work is carried out mainly through publishing, with the foundation supporting the monograph series Fossils and Strata and the journal Lethaia. These publications are central to the organization’s activities, connecting its mission with research into ancient life and geological layers.

Fossils and Strata is an ongoing publication series. The foundation announced that volume 71 was the last volume completed under the editorship of Svend Stouge, who had served as Editor-in-Chief since 2008 and died on April 12. Hans Arne Nakrem has since taken over as Editor-in-Chief. The foundation also shares day-to-day updates through its social network accounts. Through its support for specialist publications and research, Lethaia Foundation contributes to the dissemination of palaeontological and stratigraphical scholarship. Its website provides information about the foundation, its publications, and recent editorial news.
