## Description

Letní Tábor ALEA is a volunteer-run organization that provides a traditional 21-day summer camp for children aged 7 to 15. Founded by friends who wanted to share the positive experiences of their own childhood camps, the group prepares activities without financial or other compensation. Its camp is located beneath Šteflova skála near Měčín in the Klatovy region, an area of rolling countryside, forests and historic landmarks. The campsite has a tradition dating back to 1976, and ALEA has been part of it for more than 20 years.

The program centers on an original, camp-wide story that transports children to imagined worlds and brings them together through games, challenges and shared adventures. Along the way, participants explore nature, develop practical skills, build confidence, and learn both teamwork and individual initiative. The camp also offers meals, accommodation, transportation and a range of activities for a stated price of 8,850 Czech koruna for 21 days. To support closer relationships between children and leaders, attendance is limited to a maximum of 44 children.
