## Description

Trail du Buis is a community trail-running event based in La Buisse, France, organized by an association and held annually in October. Its 18th edition is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, with participants invited to return in 2027. The event offers several ways to take part, from challenging trail races to a shorter discovery course and a non-running option.

The 30-kilometre Trail du Buis is described as a demanding, rolling route across the Grand Ratz plateau and forms the sixth, and penultimate, event in the Pays Voironnais Trail Series. The historic 21-kilometre race, available solo or as a duo, features steep paths and repeated changes of pace. For a shorter outing, the 10-kilometre nature race is designed for newcomers, recreational runners, and those aiming to perform. A 10-kilometre Nordic walking or hiking option is also offered.

Online registration is available during a stated period ahead of the event, and the first 550 registrants receive a runner’s gift. The website also provides race results, regulations, partner information, and parking guidance.
