## Description

Levens Hall is a privately owned historic house, gardens and agricultural estate in Cumbria, five miles south of Kendal and close to the Lake District National Park. Developed from a Pele Tower dating to around 1250–1300, the house is an impressive Elizabethan home with a long family history and links to the Duke of Wellington. Its gardens are renowned for having the world’s oldest topiary, offering visitors an unusual and memorable landscape to explore.

Open seasonally, Levens Hall welcomes individuals, families and groups to visit the house and gardens, with admission available online or on arrival. Visitors can also buy season tickets and join guided house tours at selected times. Levens Kitchen serves drinks, coffee, cakes and a seasonally inspired food menu, with produce sourced in part from the estate. A gift shop and plant centre add further options for visitors.

The estate also offers group visits, family activities, workshops, seasonal celebrations, Halloween events and Christmas experiences.
