## Description

The Lewis County Tennis Association (LCTA) is a nonprofit organization working to make tennis accessible throughout Lewis County, Washington. Its programs and initiatives support people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, from beginners learning the fundamentals to high school athletes preparing to compete and adults seeking recreational activity. LCTA advances its mission through youth development, community partnerships, tournaments, and facility development, fostering an inclusive local tennis community and promoting the lifelong benefits of the sport.

A major initiative is the development of Lewis County’s first multi-court indoor tennis facility. Planned as an air-supported dome on Bishop Road in Chehalis, the facility is intended to provide year-round, weather-protected access for tennis programs and youth athletics. It will include multiple indoor courts and a flexible space that can also support junior high wrestling practice through a partnership with the Chehalis School District. The project is in the permitting phase and is funded by private donations, grants, and community support, without school district funds.
