## Description

Lewis Reid is an Australian hunter and author whose lifelong interest in the outdoors has shaped a career spanning hunting, guiding and adventure. Raised on a family farm near Woodenbong, he developed an early passion for wildlife and outdoor pursuits, including rifle and clay target shooting, dingo hunting, trekking and rock climbing. A meeting with New Zealand hunting guide Allan Harrison in 1982 helped inspire Reid’s path as a hunter. His experiences have taken him through the rugged Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and across New Zealand, where he worked as a hunting guide. After nearly 30 years in Barraba, New South Wales, Reid returned with his family to Woodenbong, the town where he grew up. The website introduces his hunting journeys and showcases wildlife species, including deer, wild boar, goats, buffalo, chamois and wapiti. Its central offering is his book, I Did It My Way – The South Pacific 15, which brings together almost 23 years of hunting adventures in a beautifully presented volume.
