## Description

The Lexington History Museum, now known as LexHistory, is a cultural organization dedicated to preserving Lexington’s history, sharing the stories of its people and heritage, and inspiring future generations. Established in 1998, the museum aims to be an accessible resource on Lexington’s past for residents and visitors, available across locations and digital devices. Its physical location is at 210–214 North Broadway in Lexington, Kentucky, with the entrance through the auditorium portion of the building. Visitors can explore the museum Thursday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission is $10, while children under five enter free; special rates are available for seniors, military members, and groups. School and group tours can be arranged by appointment. LexHistory also provides online resources for further reading and research about Lexington and Central Kentucky, and shares news and events. Membership, volunteering, and donations offer additional ways to support its work and help preserve local history for future generations.
