Established in 2022 through the merger with the LGBT Elder Initiative, which began in 2010 following the LGBT Senior Summit, the initiative aims to promote the rights and opportunities for LGBT elders to lead dynamic and fulfilling lives. In response to a community needs survey that identified gaps in physical and emotional health services, housing, and social networking, the Elder Initiative has cultivated a robust network of partners, including local aging services and LGBT community organizations. They offer a range of programs including advocacy, social support, health services, and community engagements. Located at the William Way Community Center in Philadelphia, the initiative is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where LGBT elders can thrive, benefiting from interdependent and enriching connections within their community. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Geriatric and Aging Care _(under Health)_ ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCDJCIA9-Sq8p2DT5RIjhULw) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/LGBTEl) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idfkpMc9Cu/w/344/h/346/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1726360006732) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Vivid Violet | #842990 | accent | | Downriver | #092847 | dark | | Malibu | #8ed1fc | light | ## Fonts - Fjalla One — asset _(google)_ - Libre Franklin — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
