## Description

Les Gens Heureux is the private-chef business of Marie Bernard, based in Lorient, in France’s Morbihan region. Marie travels throughout France and internationally to create personal dining experiences for private clients, celebrations and organisations. Her cooking is creative, generous and guided by the people at the table, with bold flavours, contrasting textures and unexpected combinations. Rather than offering a predictable menu, she works with clients to shape food around their tastes, preferences and occasion.

Services include culinary residencies in villas or country estates, private dinners, weddings and other events, as well as cocktail receptions and corporate catering. Residencies run for at least two days, with meals adapted to the guests’ rhythm. Private dinners are available for groups of six or more, while weddings and events can accommodate up to 80 guests, with no minimum guest count stated. Marie prepares the meal at the client’s venue, aiming to create a relaxed, distinctive gathering that lets hosts enjoy their guests.
