Voisins Solidaires, the association behind the widely celebrated Fête des Voisins (Neighbours' Party) with 10 million participants in France, introduces L'Heure Civique, the first step towards citizen engagement. Atanase Périfan, the creator of the Fête des Voisins and Voisins Solidaires, initiated this project, enabling individuals to participate in organized acts of solidarity in their neighbourhood or informally assist a neighbour in need. Through L'Heure Civique, you can contribute one hour per month, no matter how busy your schedule may be. Visit lheurecivique.fr, our user-friendly platform, where you can select from a wide range of gestures of solidarity, such as supporting the less fortunate, doing errands, or providing assistance with administrative tasks. Our mission is to foster local solidarity initiatives alongside institutional and family-based support systems. During the pandemic, we launched the Coronavirus - Et si on s'organisait entre voisins? (Coronavirus - What if we organized among neighbours?) kit, downloaded over a million times, to facilitate neighbourly aid. Join us! By giving just one hour each month, you can strengthen the social fabric and triumph over the challenges we face. Solidarity is everyone's responsibility - and it brings happiness too!
