## Description

Laurel Highlands Golf Academy (LHGA) is a golf instruction and development academy based at Windber Country Club in Salix, Pennsylvania. Led by Derek E. Leach, PGA, who also serves as the club’s PGA Director of Instruction, LHGA works with golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to high-level collegiate players and aspiring PGA Tour professionals. Its approach emphasizes building a practical foundation of golf knowledge and skills so students can navigate the game with greater confidence, enjoyment, and purpose.

LHGA offers academy programs for young golfers, including a Juniors Program for ages 5–9 and a Middle School Program for ages 10–13. The academy also provides golf lessons and packages, along with Callaway and TaylorMade performance club fitting. Students and families can explore program details, pricing, instructor information, testimonials, and media features through the academy’s website. LHGA describes its goal as helping golfers play smarter and with a plan. An online subscription-based library of tutorials and lesson plans is announced as coming soon.
