LHUB-ULB, or Le Laboratoire Hospitalier Universitaire de Bruxelles, is now one of the top five university hospital laboratories in Europe. With a genesis dating back to the 90s, this project was officially initiated in 2008 by Iris-Faîtière with the aim of creating a shared clinical biology laboratory across its network. The primary objective was to enhance the efficiency and quality of analyses.

LHUB-ULB offers a wide range of services, including Chemical Analysis, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, and Quality Support. With a dedicated team of 450 collaborators, LHUB-ULB conducts 18 million analyses and 165,000 PCR Covid-19 tests. The laboratory spans 8,500 square meters and collaborates with 8 National Reference Centers.

To facilitate sample collection, LHUB-ULB has partnered with various hospitals to establish convenient sample collection centers. Additionally, the laboratory offers research and teaching activities, clinical trials, and seminars.
