LHYA, also known as Licking Heights Youth Association, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth sports in the local community. With a mission to provide a safe, competitive, and fun environment, LHYA offers various programs for children aged 14 and under. Currently, they provide programs for baseball, softball, T-ball, volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading.

The T-ball program serves as an introduction to baseball and softball, focusing on teaching the basics of the game. Recreation baseball offers age groups ranging from 8U to 18U, playing games against both LHYA teams and nearby associations. Travel baseball teams participate in leagues in Central Ohio, starting from 9U up to 18U.

Softball programs are available for age groups of 8U, 10U, and 12U. Fall baseball and fall softball are instructional leagues with a focus on skill development. LHYA also offers volleyball programs for 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade, as well as basketball and cheerleading for both boys and girls.

Over the years, LHYA has evolved and expanded, now accommodating ages 18 and under and offering basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball in addition to baseball and softball. Supported by volunteers and local businesses, LHYA aims to improve the sports mechanics and sportsmanship of all participants. Through community support and sponsorship, they continue to enhance their facilities and equipment, with the goal of establishing an all-sports complex in the future.
