## Description

Lithium Designers GmbH is a Germany-based architectural design and technology company focused on developing innovative solutions for the built environment. Formerly known as Lithium Architects GmbH, the company brings together architectural planning, façade design and digital fabrication to address complex construction challenges. Its work includes façade planning and the design of intricate façade components, including 3D-printed nodes and freeform architectural elements. The company also explores 3D printing for building applications, with research and development projects involving sustainable insulation and sound-absorption panels made from natural fibres. Through collaborations with universities and industry partners, Lithium Designers works to translate research and new technologies into practical construction solutions. Its projects and public presentations cover lightweight construction, building materials, glass and façade innovation, and digital methods such as building information modelling. The company has received recognition for its work, including the BIM Löwen 2024 award for innovation in façade design and the Technische Universität Darmstadt Spin-off Label. Lithium Designers’ aim is to combine design creativity and engineering innovation to help shape future buildings.
