## Description

Liberty Warbirds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Lititz, Pennsylvania, dedicated to educating the public, honoring veterans, and restoring historic aircraft. Operating as a flying museum, the organization focuses on Huey 823, a Bell UH-1H helicopter associated with the Vietnam War. After restoring the aircraft to flight through the work of experienced volunteers, Liberty Warbirds continues to maintain it so it can remain operational.

Through aviation and veterans’ events, the organization gives people of all ages opportunities to see and experience the Huey while learning about its role in the Vietnam War. Its programs also create meaningful opportunities for veterans, particularly those who served in Vietnam, to share their stories and reconnect with the aircraft. Liberty Warbirds welcomes public support through donations, which help keep Huey 823 flying and sustain its educational and commemorative work. The organization also offers newsletter updates about its events and activities. Its mission brings history to life while recognizing the service and experiences of veterans.
