## Description

LICURA is a diaconal network bringing together healthcare, rehabilitation, care and social services. Formerly known as LICHTENAU e.V., it has introduced a new name and identity while building on 75 years of experience in health and social care. Its work supports people at different stages of life, including older adults, families and people with disabilities, guided by the commitment to heal, care and help.

LICURA’s medical services include the Orthopaedic Clinic Hessisch Lichtenau, an orthopaedic rehabilitation centre, a medical care centre and a technical orthopaedics centre. Care and everyday support range from home nursing and outpatient services in northern Hesse to day care, the Fürstenhagen care centre and a hospice service. The network also offers an integration centre, child and youth services, physiotherapy training and vocational education. Additional services include guest accommodation and event spaces.

Through its range of facilities, LICURA connects medical care, support, education and participation. It also provides career and training opportunities and invites people to support its work through donations.
