## Description

LifeChanger of the Year is a National Life Group program funded and run by National Life Group and the National Life Group Foundation. It recognizes K–12 teachers and school employees who make a beneficial difference in students’ lives and contribute to positive, nurturing school communities. The program invites nominations for public and private school employees across the United States, including educators and other school staff. Nominators can submit up to three candidates and share how each person demonstrates leadership, excellent professional performance, high ethical standards, and a commitment to students. The nomination process also allows submissions by written description or video, and nominees are notified by email. A retiring K–12 educator may be eligible for the LifeChanger Capstone Award. The program publishes nominee profiles and provides information about its awards, selection committee, and previous nominations. Through its nomination and recognition activities, LifeChanger of the Year offers communities a way to celebrate dedicated school professionals and highlight their contributions to students and schools.
