## Description

**Life Index-Air**

Life Index-Air is an innovative project aimed at enhancing air quality and public health across Europe. By developing a versatile decision support tool for policymakers, the initiative focuses on measurable actions to improve air quality in five targeted cities: Lisbon, Porto, Athens, Kuopio, and Treviso. The tool assists in calculating population exposure to atmospheric pollutants, quantifying health impacts associated with this exposure, and identifying pollution sources.

This proactive project integrates community engagement through awareness campaigns in schools, educating students about air quality and its implications. Regular workshops and presentations, such as those at the European Researcher’s Night and local health forums, showcase the project's findings and tools to a broader audience. With ongoing progress updates and dissemination of training materials, Life Index-Air is committed to creating healthier urban environments and improving the well-being of citizens through informed policy decisions. Join their newsletter to stay informed about the latest developments and initiatives in air quality management.
