It works to address overfishing, depleted stocks and unequal conditions in European seas, promoting the contribution small-scale fishing can make to environmental, social and economic sustainability. LIFE supports fishers in becoming active participants in shaping the future of their sector. Its work focuses on strengthening their ability to take part in managing fishing areas, securing fair access to fishery resources and obtaining fair prices for their catch. The organisation operates at European Union level, across regional sea basins and directly with members on the ground. It engages with EU institutions, regional fisheries management bodies, advisory councils and national governments, and draws on the knowledge and experience of its members to develop shared solutions. LIFE also shares policy positions, reports, news, events and educational resources. ## Industries - 🏭 Agriculture _(under Heavy Industry and Engineering)_ - 🏭 Heavy Industry and Engineering ## Links - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/low-impact-fishers-of-europe---life) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/LIFEplatformEU) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/lifeplatformeu) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCAnDvCxUAW9aCLYnfdkqJUQ) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/lifeplatformeu) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id48770W0w/w/300/h/232/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791013721522) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id48770W0w/w/274/h/274/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791013721608) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Astral | #3181a7 | accent | | Pirate Gold | #b57400 | dark | | Sandy brown | #f5a673 | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id48770W0w/w/1500/h/500/idneD2xc7C.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791013721834) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
