## Description

LifeScienceHistory.com is an online resource for news, information, and historical coverage of the life science industry. Established in 1997, the site aims to make industry knowledge accessible to researchers, companies, and others interested in science. Its searchable content includes current and past life science news, notable discoveries and events, and company information organized by U.S. state, Canadian province, nation, or keyword.

The site features a password-free directory of life science companies across the United States and Canada, including contract research organizations (CROs), contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs). It also invites companies and nonprofit research organizations to submit information or updates for inclusion. Additional offerings include Genealogy on Demand, original science cartoons, and original music, including the “Earth is a Rock, Let the DNA Mold Me” song and video. Through its coverage of organizations, discoveries, and scientific figures, LifeScienceHistory.com celebrates science and scientists while providing a growing reference for the life science community.
