## Description

Lifted Foundation is a US nonprofit organization founded in 2015 to empower women in the Philippines through education and entrepreneurship. Its work focuses on helping women and their families access resources that can support a path out of poverty. Through the Lifted Scholar Program, the foundation provides financial assistance to female college students and college-bound students, including high-achieving girls living in poverty. It also offers the Lifted Small Business Grant, providing grants to women-led small businesses and supporting local women entrepreneurs.

Lifted shares the stories of its scholars and highlights issues affecting children and education in the Philippines. Individuals can support its programs by making donations, while sponsors and other supporters can help advance its mission. The foundation’s initiatives address both educational opportunity and women’s economic participation, recognizing these as connected ways to strengthen communities. Based in Los Angeles, California, Lifted Foundation invites people to learn about its causes, meet its scholars, and contribute to programs that help women pursue education and build small businesses.
