## Description

Lighthouse Community Group provides personalized support for people with disabilities, helping them pursue greater independence, inclusion, and quality of life. Guided by a commitment to person-centered care, the organization works with individuals and their loved ones to develop support plans shaped around each person’s goals, needs, and preferences. Its team of trained support workers and allied health professionals offers assistance across daily life and community participation.

Services include support coordination to help individuals and families navigate the NDIS, identify goals, and access suitable services. Domestic support provides help at home with personal needs, household tasks, companionship, and emotional support. Personal care can include assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, medication management, and mobility. Community access support helps participants engage with local activities through transportation assistance, skill development, social connections, and access to events.

Founded by Nilgun Saygin, whose family experience informs her advocacy, Lighthouse emphasizes compassion, qualified professionals, tailored solutions, community integration, transparency, and accountability. The organization aims to create a supportive environment where individuals and families feel understood and connected.
