## Description

Lightning Taxi is a Pender Island, British Columbia, transportation company founded in 2022 and operated by Lightning Transport Systems Ltd. Its mission is to provide convenient, efficient, and safe passenger transportation and tours. The company is committed to a 100% electric fleet, helping reduce tailpipe emissions while requiring less maintenance than traditional taxi vehicles.

Services include local taxi rides, individual and group tours, wedding shuttles, event transportation, and custom charters. For larger groups, Lightning Taxi offers an all-electric, 19-passenger minibus with a driver. The company also provides delivery of groceries, takeout, liquor, and parcels across Pender Island, as well as battery boosts and jump starts. Cannabis delivery is not available.

Taxi dispatch operates daily, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays; rides outside dispatch hours can be arranged in advance. The company accepts Pender Island Taxi Saver vouchers, and taxi fares are regulated by British Columbia’s Passenger Transportation Board. Lightning Taxi also welcomes inquiries about charter bookings and employment opportunities, including taxi driver positions.
